Carol is a Kappa Delta from San Jose State.  She served her chapter as President and attended the 1963 convention which led to further involvement on the national level when she graduated.  She was a collegiate and alumnae officer, National Director of Membership, National Director of Public Relations, and then National Vice President of Alumnae on the National Council from 1979-1987.

Ms. Coordt is currently on the Alumnae Panhellenics Committee, the Alumnae Panhellenic Awards Committee, the Recruitment Committee, and is on her delegation for Kappa Delta as the second alternate NPC Delegate.  She supervises Alumnae Panhellenics in Southern California, Hawaii, Louisiana and Texas, a total of twenty-nine APH groups.

Carol resides in Manhattan Beach, California, with her husband, Bob.  They have two sons and six grandchildren.  She is a retired teacher, principal and educational consultant, and has been an active volunteer in classrooms for her grandchildren.

She is a member of Soroptimist International of Manhattan Beach, and has served on their board in numerous positions.  In 2013, Carol’s commitment to NPC was formally recognized when an award, the Carol Coordt Circle of Excellence, was created to honor outstanding APH groups.
